First off, I want to send a HUGE thank you to all my bloggie friends that gave me input for these cute invites!!
Not ONE ladybug is like the other:)
Inside of card - I really like how the layering turned out - I had planned to get clear Avery circle labels, BUT I couldn't find circles that large (the red is 3 1/4 inches), so I had to get thrifty!! I bought mailing labels 3 1/3 x 4, printed the info and then cut it out with a 3 inch circle punch. I wanted to be able to peel and pick - so I went this way. But one COULD print on regular paper and then glue or XYRON.
I have had SEVERAL people ask about making "shape" cards - so I will be putting together a tutorial for you - keep checking back:)
WOW!!! They came out so great! (Now I know who to contact when I need invites)

ReplyDeletegreat idea, and they look great.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!! I am starting to get ideas for some ladybug baby shower invitations and these are pretty much what I pictured in my mind. How long did it take you to do these?? What cricut carts did you use?? Any info would be REALLY helpful. I'll be doing at least 50 of these "buggers", probably more. Thank you! (meldoy1967@yahoo.com)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! I was looking for inspiration for my daughter's 1st birthday since we are doing a ladybug theme for my little lady! I do have a question though, what size envelope did you use to mail them off?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am with what Melody asked...can you give us any hints as to what cricut carts you used?
