I bought these and just knew I can could do something with them!! I will be giving the gold one to a friend for gift and the aqua one will go to my older son's tutor this week, just because!
But my plan is to make one for all the teachers at school with their name and then the principal will be filling it with candy or goodies of some sort :)
The font is DON JUAN, ladybug is from Paisley and DoodleCharms cricut cartridges.
I bought SEVERAL of these - so I will be offering these for sale....$14.00, shipping included (USA - lower 48). If you are interested, email me!! cricutmethat@gmail.com
You get to pick one name, bottle color and the font. I have not put together a list of font I have yet, but I will work on one. If wanted I will add a two-toned image....ask for something and I will let you know if I have it. The color of bottles I have are: red, aqua, gold, blue.
**Bottle description: BPA free, 20 oz., for cold beverages only**
I accept PayPal and will "invoice" you for payment.
I wanted to try to make a caramel apple card - why?? Just Because!!! I guess I am getting in the mood for fall!! I LOVE fall!!
I don't have a cartridge that has a caramel covered apple, so I had to invent this. I used an apple from DoodleCharms, a wave and jelly fish from SpongeBob :) I put them together using my gypsy. Combined two apples in my gypsy on white cardstock for the inside. Added a popsicle stick and called it a card!!
I used a glitter paper, caramel cardstock, thin ribbon, rhinestone bling, peachy keen stamp, white and red gel pen, silver, red and black ink (inking) and a stampin' up stamp.
So here it is.....by the way, it will fit into a 4 x 6 envelope.
I saved several containers for various projects, but I thought it would be fun for my boys to have the chance "to make something". I had milk/juice jugs and ice cream containers. I set them out and let them select a container and let them use their imagination.
Korbin, used an orange juice bottle to make a rocket bank Kobe, used a milk jug to make a bug jar Kohlsen, used a milk jug to make a rocket ambulance THEN an ice cream container to make a bug jar
They had SOOO much fun!!
I was debating whether or not to post this until I clicked on Jenny's blog Crazy About Cricut and found she JUST started a new thing. Every Friday she will have a project for a kid, by a kid or with a kid - she's a mom of 4, so she totally gets chaos and crafting!! Chaos and crafting, that's what I should have named by blog, LOL!!!
Anyway - thanks Jenny for offering such a grand time with our kids!!! Perfect timing!
I wanted to tell you about a fun chance to win a set of stamps from Joy over at Joy'sLife.com.
Pop over to her site - she is doing a 5 day, yes I said FIVE day give-a-way!!
But on day 3, she AND her 8 summer designers are giving away Joy's Life "lots of pun" stamps...so if you have time, go check them out!! You will enjoy each of their projects!
