Crafting w/Trash

Happy Sunday afternoon!!

I saved several containers for various projects, but I thought it would be fun for my boys to have the chance "to make something". I had milk/juice jugs and ice cream containers. I set them out and let them select a container and let them use their imagination.

Korbin, used an orange juice bottle to make a rocket bank
Kobe, used a milk jug to make a bug jar
Kohlsen, used a milk jug to make a rocket ambulance THEN an ice cream container to make a bug jar

They had SOOO much fun!!

I was debating whether or not to post this until I clicked on Jenny's blog Crazy About Cricut and found she JUST started a new thing. Every Friday she will have a project for a kid, by a kid or with a kid - she's a mom of 4, so she totally gets chaos and crafting!! Chaos and crafting, that's what I should have named by blog, LOL!!!

Anyway - thanks Jenny for offering such a grand time with our kids!!!
Perfect timing!

Enjoy my "still shots" video!

  1. Very talented kids, I love their names

  2. Abby, thank you so very much for joining in my first Family Friday. Your kids are absolutely adorable! You guys got the spirit of Family Friday perfectly. To answer your question in the comment you left on my blog, I will be posting an idea every week, but not a specific "assignment". I know with kids things don't always go as planned, so I just want people to use FF as an incentive to make sure to take that time out to craft with our kids. And hopefully the kids get a kick out of being able to post their projects :P Thanks again for joining me :)
